Here are a few reasons our clients invest in pool heaters:
A pool heater can extend your swimming season by keeping the water at a comfortable temperature, even when the air is cooler. This means you can enjoy your pool early in the spring, late into the fall, and potentially all year round!
Homes with heated pools often have a higher market value. It's an attractive feature for potential buyers who want to enjoy the pool without worrying about the water being too cold.
A pool heater ensures water is always at a pleasant temperature, making your swimming experience more enjoyable, especially for children and elderly family members who may be sensitive to cold water.
A pool heater gives you control over your swimming experience by letting you set the perfect temperature. This flexibility allows you to enjoy your pool just the way you like it, regardless of the weather.
When it comes to keeping your pool at the perfect temperature, Williams Water Co. offers two efficient heating solutions: traditional and solar heaters. Not sure which option is right for you?
Our traditional pool heaters stand out for their speed and reliability. Utilizing either natural gas, propane, or electricity, these heaters warm your pool quickly, ensuring it's ready for use at any time. These heaters are ideal for those looking for convenience and immediate comfort.
This eco-friendly option uses solar panels to capture and convert sunlight into heat, warming your pool water without the ongoing energy costs associated with traditional heaters. These units are perfect for environmentally conscious pool owners looking for a sustainable and cost-effective solution.

Solar pool heaters use a simple, four-step process to warm water using the sun's natural energy. Here’s how it works:
First, the pool pump circulates water through the filtration system. But instead of returning the water to the pool, it's diverted through a series of solar collectors or panels, which we mount to the roof of a nearby structure that receives the most direct sunlight.
As the pool water passes through these solar collectors, the sun heats it. These collectors are designed to maximize surface area contact between the water and the heated collector panels. The sun’s energy heats the water in the collectors, raising its temperature as it moves through the system.
After the water is heated in the solar collectors, it's circulated back into the pool, raising the overall water temperature. This cycle continues, with water being pumped through the collectors and back into the pool, gradually increasing the pool's temperature over time.
Most solar pool heating systems include a digital controller for temperature regulation. Once you set your temperature, the controller automatically diverts water through the solar collectors. When the desired temperature is reached, the system can bypass the collectors to maintain the set temperature without overheating the pool.
